After seeing Daughter, I think I could have gone home happy but ... that's the best thing about SXSW, it was still early and there's always more bands to see. Next up were Lower Dens who I hadn't seen since the previous years festival. They've changed around their lineup and added a couple of keyboards which is ... surprising. I was disappointed not to hear any songs from their first album and wasn't really enjoying their set until they played new single, Brains, and wow, it sounded absolutely superb. 5 minutes or so of absolute bliss. I'll go see them again just to hear it played live, it was that good.
