Lower Dens were the next band on my schedule and after waiting for about 20 minutes outside (a rarity for me at SXSW), I made it inside a few minutes before the band took the stage. When I saw them the last time, I hadn't spent much time with their debut album, 'Twin Hand Movement' but was sufficiently overwhelmed by their set that I had the CD on repeat for a few weeks on my iPod and it ended up making my top 10 list of 2010. I was pretty excited to get a chance to see them again and once again, they were terrific live. They don't say very much onstage but they don't really need to because the music is so good. One of my favourite sets at SXSW.
