One of the unique things about SXSW is that because there are something like 2,000 bands playing in about 5 days, bands can and do play anywhere and everywhere. At first glance, Sleepy Vikings in the lobby of a hotel is ... a bit weird. They've got 4 guitars and play loud, shoegazey music. Fortunately for those at the bar of the Sheraton, the set was acoustic. As a big fan already, it was a great opportunity for me to see another side of the band and to hear different versions of my favourite songs. A nice bonus which I really enjoyed.
