The next band on my schedule were Still Corners from London. They were playing in one of the ballrooms of the Austin Convention Center. The band has been getting a fair bit of blog love and their debut album will be released by Sub Pop this year. I arrived a few minutes late and there weren't that many people there but Still Corners put on a great show and I came away a fan, wanting to see and hear more. The set was even written up in The Guardian, which for a national newspaper, is a great source of new music through their 'New Band of the Day' series.
