Surf City were next on my agenda but they weren't listed at the venue they were supposed to be playing at, so I headed off to see the next band on my schedule, Oberhofer. I've been a fan of Oberhofer since summer 2010 (which is almost an eternity for a new band) but they still haven't played Vancouver (or toured that much) so I was quite pleased to see them. The band's namesake and lead singer, Brad, is young but the songs are very catchy and the band were great live. They lived up to my expectations and I'm looking forward to their CD.
